Let Go. Focus. Begin Again.
This week’s edition is about doing less and doing it well. It’s about protecting your energy, focusing on what matters, and making progress without needing to be perfect. If you’ve been feeling pulled in too many directions, this one is for you.
Lets Start...
Lets Start...
3 Thoughts From Me
I.
Being able to hear something difficult and not take it personally changes everything.
You stop reacting.
You start choosing.
II.
Most of what we spend time on doesn’t move the needle.
If you stepped back and kept only the two things that genuinely bring results
you’d make progress without the noise.
The rest? Let it go, pass it on, or leave it for later.
III.
It’s not the first mistake that breaks you.
It’s the story you tell yourself after you’ve slipped.
Missing one day isn’t failure.
Quitting on yourself is.
2 Quotes From Others
I.
On the Power of Emotional Boundaries:
“When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be the victim of needless suffering.”
This one reminds us that we don’t need to carry every opinion. Let people think what they think. We don’t have to make it ours.
II.
On making space for what matters:
“Most of what we say and do is not essential. If you can eliminate it, you'll have more time, and more tranquility.”
Clarity often comes from letting go, not adding more. The fewer things you chase, the better you can show up for what counts.
1 Question For You
What could you let go of this week, not out of weakness, but to make space for what truly matters?
With thanks,
David
