On Feeling Foolish, Holding Dreams, and Standing Your Ground
Some days I feel unsure before I even begin. That’s part of it. If you’re putting care into something, self-doubt is a quiet companion.
3 Thoughts From Me
I.
When I’m learning something new, I usually feel foolish at first. That discomfort is a sign I’m stretching. The trick is not letting it stop me.
II.
You don’t need to defend every idea you dream up. Some are just for you. Private sketches count.
III.
Not everyone will get your work. That doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It means you’ve made something with a point of view.
