Unlocking True Wealth, Embracing Lifelong Learning, and Cultivating Self-Love
Welcome back to another edition of the 3-2-1 Design newsletter.
This week, I want to focus on something that’s often overlooked: true wealth, the power of lifelong learning, and the importance of loving yourself. As designers, it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and forget about the deeper things that fuel our creativity and drive. So, let’s take a moment to reflect on what really matters, not just in your work, but in your life.

As designers, it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and forget about the deeper things that fuel our creativity and drive. So, let’s take a moment to reflect on what really matters, not just in your work, but in your life.
3 Thoughts From Me
I.
Wealth isn’t just about money.
It's about time, energy, and opportunities. The richest people in the world are often those who have mastered how to spend their time wisely.
Instead of chasing endless wealth, focus on investing in things that make you feel alive—your passions, your growth, and your connections with others. True wealth comes from being fulfilled, not just financially secure.
II.
Learning is a lifelong journey, not a destination. So many people think that once they’ve ‘arrived’—whether that’s a promotion, a degree, or a finished project—learning is done. But real learning never stops. It’s in the quiet moments, in the challenges, and in every failure. Embrace the messy parts of the process, because that’s where the growth happens. You’re constantly evolving—so keep learning, even when it feels like you’re already ‘good enough.’
III.
Love isn’t just for others; it’s for you too.The most important love you can show is the one you give yourself. Without self-love, it’s hard to pour your energy into others or your work. Take the time to appreciate who you are, your struggles, your wins, and your unique perspective. When you love yourself, you show up differently in everything you do, and that makes all the difference.
2 Quotes From Others
I.
“The best way to predict the future is to create it.”
II.
“Wealth consists not in having great possessions, but in having few wants.”
1 Question For You
How will you show up for yourself today?
Will you give yourself the gift of self-love, or will you keep pushing forward, ignoring the need to pause and breathe?
With thanks,
David

P.S. Remember, the true wealth lies in how you spend your time, the lessons you embrace, and the love you show yourself. Keep creating, keep learning, and keep believing in the power of today.
Take care
