A Quieter Kind of Courage
As it has been one of those weeks where small things seemed to ask for more courage than expected.
A message sent.
A thought shared.
A quiet admission of what you actually want.

A quiet admission of what you actually want.
3 Thoughts From Me
I.
Going for it rarely feels clean at the start.
It can feel slightly awkward.
You move before you feel ready.
Then you spend the afternoon wondering if you have made a fool of yourself.
That's simply part of the journey too.
II.
Sharing what you know can feel strangely exposing.
Even ordinary ideas can feel close to home when you speak them aloud.
Someone else may need the thing you almost decided was not worth mentioning.
Not because it is perfect.
Because it might help.
III.
Wanting something clearly can take a while.
Sometimes you only know by noticing what keeps returning.
Sometimes you find it by admitting what no longer fits.
There is no grand moment.
Just a quieter yes that starts to stay.
2 Quotes From Others
I.
On courage
“Leap, and the net will appear.”
(Essay, 1920)
You may not feel brave, yet you can still sense the moment when standing still becomes harder than trying.
II.
On clarity
“I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.”
(Attributed writing, year unknown)
You are allowed to notice when your direction has changed, even if you cannot explain it to anyone else.
1 Question For You
What have you been quietly putting off, not because you do not care, but because it matters to you?
With thanks,
David

P.S. Some choices feel small when you make them. They can still change the shape of a week.
