Not Stuck, Just Tired
A quiet note to start,
Sometimes we’re not stuck.
Just tired.
This week is about finding our footing again, gently, honestly, without overthinking.

3 Thoughts From Me
I.
Self-control often looks like planning ahead.
Not in a rigid way. But in a way that leaves fewer decisions to willpower.
Make it easier to do what you already want to do.
II.
You don’t have to live fast to live well.
People who live longer tend to move more, eat slowly, and stay close to others.
It’s not one big change.
It’s small patterns that add up.
III.
What holds people back is often a fear of looking foolish.
But creative work requires some risk.
You won’t get it right every time.
That’s part of showing up.
2 Quotes From Others
I.
On self-discipline
“Discipline is choosing between what you want now and what you want most.”
(Attributed, 1860s)
This helps when I’m tempted to take the easy route. Long-term clarity gives short-term strength.
II.
On fear
“I think the big fear is always that you’re not going to be able to do it again.”
(Interview, 1978)
This quote makes me feel less alone in creative doubt. It’s part of the process, not a flaw.
1 Question For You
What’s one small change that could help you follow through more easily this week?
With thanks,

P.S. It’s not about doing more. It’s about doing what matters with a little more ease.
