Better Questions, Kinder Eyes
Some weeks feel noisy. Too much input, not enough clarity.
When that happens, I try to pause.
Not to find answers, but to sit with better questions.
When that happens, I try to pause.
Not to find answers, but to sit with better questions.
3 Thoughts From Me
I.
Four questions for life
What matters? What’s mine to do? What’s enough? What can I let go of?
I keep these on a sticky note. They don’t fix things, but they do help me stay honest.
They also remind me how often I avoid the real question.
II.
How to learn like a child
Children don’t fear being wrong. They just try things.
The faster you try, the faster you learn.
If something doesn’t work, they move on without shame.
III.
Generous seeing
Generosity isn’t just about giving. It’s also about how you see.
See people as capable. See effort even when results are small.
See potential. See past the moment.
2 Quotes From Others
I.
On maturity
“You are grown not by the things you achieve, but by the questions you learn to ask.”
(Podcast, 2021)
This made me stop and think about what I chase. Achievements can be loud. Questions are quiet, but lasting.
II.
On curiosity
“Children are not only innocent and curious but also optimistic and joyful.”
(Interview, 1956)
A reminder that staying curious might also help you stay open. And hopeful.
1 Question For You
Where in your life are you avoiding the real question?
With thanks,

P.S. You don’t need all the answers to begin. But better questions help you keep going.
