Smarter paths, calmer minds, generous skill
Not every shortcut cuts corners. Worry rarely changes the outcome, but it can change how you show up. And mastery, at its best, makes things easier for everyone else.
3 Thoughts From Me
I.
Some shortcuts come from carelessness, but others come from experience. The best ones keep the quality, save the time, and feel natural in use.
II.
Worry grows when it has space to wander. If you give it something clear and practical to focus on, it often shrinks.
III.
True mastery is not about making something look hard. It’s about making the difficult look simple for the person watching.
2 Quotes From Others
I.
On shortcuts.
“The road to wisdom? Well, it’s plain and simple to express. Err and err and err again, but less and less and less.”
(Poem, 1960s)
Experience creates the best shortcuts. They come from knowing what can be left out without losing what matters.
II.
On mastery.
“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.”
(Interview, 1982)
Mastery grows from consistent use. The more you practise, the more generous your skills become.
